LI is a dining table designed to arouse curiosity. Its unconventional use of material invites you to discover and explore the structure, the process, and the dialogue among LI’s various components. It was made to represent the re-union of Nature and Man: the surface of the table is made from charred planks of wood (Nature), while the leg structure is made from Corian (Man). The use of the piece is dictated by its form and material composition, which allows for a new experience.
LIGNA is the result of an exploration of balance and tension; it is light objectified. Delicately balanced, one line thrusts the light through space turning the idea into the object. Constructed from contemporary materials, LIGNA is a mix of classic forms with modern interpretations.
OM is a container that restores value to an often underappreciated material. It adds a sense of expression through form, while staying ephemeral and fragile in an atypical manner. Made from cotton paper and natural latex, OM is an exercise in balance and desire.
GIRA is a lighting piece designed to explore the ideas of movement and balance. It achieves this harmony through co-dependent pieces. Joined at single point, GIRA spins through space, activating light to rediscover shadows. Constructed from aluminum and brass GIRA turns industrial materials into delicate interpretations of light, space, shadow and motion.
